- Browse paths on Amazon (e.g. Books > Self-Help > Motivational) that buyers use to discover books. Each title can be placed in a limited number of categories.
- How many categories can I pick?
- KDP currently allows up to three categories per title during setup, with options to request more via support. Always confirm the current limit in KDP help.
- Do categories affect Best Seller badges?
- Yes. Ranking is calculated within each category. Narrower categories with less competition are easier to rank in.
- Does this guide tell me which category to pick?
